Hey Bebes ❤
There is a certain sexiness about simple white shirt, especially if you just throw it on and let it move around you. Like, “I don’t care how hot I look.” Also, it’s a staple in every woman wardrobe ( check out my 10 timeless pieces you should consider creating (or buying) ). I’m just so much into simplicity lately, you know? Minimalistic design, neutral colors…
The pattern that I used is by Vikisews, model Esme (эсми). Stunning pattern with straight silhouette, it has several darts- chest and back shoulder area. Sewing was pretty easy, although because of my sloppy cutting I had a major issue with the under-collar. I really don’t know when will I learn to put more attention on the cutting?! Other than that everything went pretty smooth!
The fabric was gifted from Minerva, it’s poly taffeta- this one. At first I wasn’t so sure about it, it felt very polyesterish if you know what I mean. But once I started sewing and, more importantly, ironing it- I was in love. Such a smooth finish, and drape from the heaven itself!
I really love how it turned out, now that I think about it- I might’ve chose size 40 (instead of 38) but it’s all good. Hopefully NY resolutions this year fix that 😉
How is your sewing going these days? Ready for the NY? Thank you so for stopping by
