This type of garment has been on my To-Sew-List for a WHILE ❤ If you would take a look at any of my sketches... probably ever... you would see this dress! But for some reason I felt like the making was considered as a mystery (till recently) you know? Like a secret craft that nobody could approach 👽

This pattern was love at first sight 😍 I saw it and I knew we're going to end up together ❤ I got crazy inspired by my previous post on Renaissance... I feel silly saying that "I inspired my self" 😄 But I guess it's okay.

Alright, I finally took my lovely dress for a lunch yesterday and omg can you believe that the weather for it was perfect here in Vegas 😱 I mean, it was around 80°.... Which is great for you know... life, but it kinda kills my urge to sew winter clothes 🙄
Anyways, this is my hacked Vogue V9029 pattern, totally inspired by @dressedbyava and her lovely pink dress 🥰
The fabric was gifted from fabulous @poppyflowerfields and it's soft like it's mixed with silk!

Layers, layers and guess what- mooore layers 😄 Every winter same question- do I want to make lighter clothes and that layer it up, which is BTW much easier to make on my (I see now) very amateur machine... And not to mention it looks more chic. Orrrrrr to make chunkier clothing that you just throw on yourself, with a risk it looks like a craft project- with all the potential (hahhah read definite) skipped stitches... No offense to the craft projects of course 🎈
I just don't know... When I made this coat it seemed like it's going to be sooo warm, but when it was done- it felt like a paper... Thicker paper but paper nevertheless 🤔 hmmmmm what are your thoughts on this subject?

If you asked me what I thought about puff-sleeves before I made this top (#vikisews_глория ), I would probably tell you that they are silly and immature. But than I made this top and discovered a whole new type of femininity (in a fashion sense of course). Like woooow so this is how those women feel on Pinterest 😂 Okaaayy, I get it 🤔
So the next 4 projects were puff sleeved projects, some made to the blog and some not... But I can't waitttt for spring to come so I can start making them again ❤🥂 How do u feel about Ms. Puff Sleeves?

So yesterday the most random thing happened, my ❤ and I were heading out and I didn't have any separate to wear. And than I saw this dress (swipe to see) and realized I've not been wearing it ever since I took that photo(year maybe)! Big no no. And to be honest it was aaa little too much print for my own taste. So I just cut it in the middle and decided to deal with hem when I get some spare sewing time (although God knows when will that be) and VOILA- fabulous top 🖤 It took me likeee less than a minute to make the decision and to cut it and bc it's poly knit it doesn't fray or anything ha haaaa what do you think? Do you ever randomly cut your clothes? 😁
