Once upon a time in a Pinterest kingdom far far away, there was a woman who pinned nearly 90 photos of palazzo pants in all kind of situations: palazzo walking on the beach, palazzo on vacation in Portofino, palazzo drinking coffee in front of Eiffel Tower… So one day, the desperate woman finally got fed up with pinning and decided to make her very own palazzo pants. And that’s how the real story starts ❤ Oh yeah, that woman is obviously me.
To make them I used Vikisews Daphne (Дафна) pattern, and may I say that this is my second successful attempt! You can read about the first one here. And as I mentioned before, this is one of those stunning patterns that are classic, timeless and easy to make… Well, relatively easy. The type of pants, if made well, could last a lifetime. Although mine probably won’t… since I’m planning to live very long- and wear them a lot!
Now, the star of the show- The Fabric. The fabric is GLORIUS! It’s lyocell from Jo-ann that I was too afraid to cut for a long time because it’s sooo pretty. The drape is out of this world- almost fluid, it’s soft, it’s not too heavy but not too light either. I mean, I could go on and on about it, but the point is that it looks and feels so expensive. And the color is just divine… Should I go ahead and write a whole post on how much I adore this fabric? 😄 You can get the same one here, and I found something similar here and here. I also got it in this sage color and I can’t wait to find the right pattern to use it!
I’m very proud of the whole outfit. Here I combined the pants with my DIY white top, Just Fab ruched purse, Waldor&Co. watch and Moonlight Jewels necklace. Conclusion is obvious: I’m obsessed with this pants and I warmly recommend to everyone to try it! After all, every queen could use Her Royalty Palazzo Pants.
