Hey bebes ❤
Christmas is almost here! And although we don’t want to be a part of global consumerism- we would still love to gift something to our special someone. That’s why I created this little list of ideas that we could buy/create and feel really good about it:
1. Impeccably tailored shirt

This is a classic. Every man should own a tailored shirt, and if he doesn’t- well this is a great opportunity to get him one. The better material, the longer will last and of course it will be more appreciated as it will be softer on the skin. If you are planning to make it, I found this pattern by Simplicity (S8753) and also this one from Pattern Tailor. As far as materials go, I would definitely use something soft such as fine cotton (Egyptian/Swiss/Pima) or linen blends (linen + silk or linen + cotton).
2. Camera

Yeah, I know we have phones. But sometimes there no better thing than going on a hike without a phone (or just left on silence) and taking some nice pictures. It gives you some new perspective and not to say that no man ever said “meeh” after receiving a camera. I have this one , Canon Rebel sl2 and it’s great, but I found this one, Fujifilm (X100S) to look so retro and appealing.
3. Pajamas

Always a good idea, unless he prefers to sleep nude… But still, there are days when it’s just too cold. This is the part where you know his preferences- would he be okay with classic button up pajamas or more sportier version, or just boxer briefs with some shirt. Either way, if you’re planning to make them- make them from a nice material, soft but durable and in his signature colors. This pattern by Burda Style (6741) is great classic option, this one & this one paired byVikisews for more casual and this one by Stitch Upon A Time- is for our not-wearing-more-than-the-underwear-guy.
4. Watch

No brainer, watch is one of those universal gifts that with the right care- could last forever (talking about regular watches not the smart ones). Of course, if your guy prefers smartwatches- he would probably like that one better. But if he could enjoy something classic and timeless this one by Waldor & Co and this one by Daniel Wellington just hit the spot.
5. Ask him what he wants

Ha! I bet you didn’t expect this one coming. But seriously, if you want to save yourself (and him) a trouble- just ask him what he needs or what he would really like to have. That way there is no unnecessary stuff pilling up and you can rest knowing that you chose something that he would really enjoy. Simple yet amazing!
That’s it my friends- I hope this helps you a little (if not a lot) and save you some trouble because it sure will to me.
See you soon ❤
