First I made it long and now I made it short 🙈

First I made it long and now I made it short 🙈 (swipe to see) But what else to do? As a dress I worn it once- when I took the second photo. But as a top I'm going to wear it right now when I leave the home for coffee 🥰 I don't know... I just feel separates are much more versatile especially If it's transparent..ish like this one. And also I must say that the zipper was so pointy that it looked like I have a tail... Now that I think about it that might be the main reason 😂 Nevertheless, I have the full post about it on my blog (fashion section, second page) but shortly:

Lately I've been very attracted by neutral colors. I don't feel like wearing/sewing/buying anything but white, black, beige and gray 🤍🤎 Especially now that the warmer weather is approaching I can see only linen (and linen-like 😉) in front of my eyes! I don't even remember how does the jersey look 🙈

It feels like a century since I started it... And

It feels like a century since I started it... And I'm still not sure if I should ditch the cups and wear is as mini corset over shirts 🤔Truth is that in straight pose it looks very nice, but if I let my shoulders down... not so much. Maybe this is Universe sending me a message- straighten up woman! Hmm we'll see 👽
So all that is left to do is figure out that part and reinforce back part somehow (any ideas?) maybe some wire or something to keep it straight 🤓

This type of garment has been on my To-Sew-List for a WHILE ❤ If you would take a look at any of my sketches... probably ever... you would see this dress! But for some reason I felt like the making was considered as a mystery (till recently) you know? Like a secret craft that nobody could approach 👽

Alright, I finally took my lovely dress for a lunch yesterday and omg can you believe that the weather for it was perfect here in Vegas 😱 I mean, it was around 80°.... Which is great for you know... life, but it kinda kills my urge to sew winter clothes 🙄
Anyways, this is my hacked Vogue V9029 pattern, totally inspired by @dressedbyava and her lovely pink dress 🥰
The fabric was gifted from fabulous @poppyflowerfields and it's soft like it's mixed with silk!

Layers, layers and guess what- mooore layers 😄 Every winter same question- do I want to make lighter clothes and that layer it up, which is BTW much easier to make on my (I see now) very amateur machine... And not to mention it looks more chic. Orrrrrr to make chunkier clothing that you just throw on yourself, with a risk it looks like a craft project- with all the potential (hahhah read definite) skipped stitches... No offense to the craft projects of course 🎈
I just don't know... When I made this coat it seemed like it's going to be sooo warm, but when it was done- it felt like a paper... Thicker paper but paper nevertheless 🤔 hmmmmm what are your thoughts on this subject?
